HER APPROACH
Imagine helps untangle the roots of what keeps you feeling stuck in difficult relationships with food, body, self, and trauma. She works with adolescents and adults, creating a space that feels warm, authentic, and deeply attuned—where you can explore the experiences that have shaped you and begin rewriting the narratives that no longer feel like your own.

Her work is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy while integrating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), and somatic approaches. She believes that healing is often less about fixing thoughts or controlling behaviors and more about understanding the protective patterns beneath them.

As an eating disorder specialist, Imagine knows that changing behaviors alone is rarely enough to heal the deeply rooted loops that can leave you feeling powerless around food, body image, or self-worth. She understands that patterns of food deprivation, restrictive eating, binge and emotional eating, compulsive exercise, body shame, and compensatory behaviors often develop for a reason—even when they no longer feel helpful.

Together, her work with clients centers on deepening self-awareness, reconnecting with internal trust, and helping them safely reclaim choice, clarity, and the pieces of themselves that feel most like home.

Imagine earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oakland University. Her training includes experience across both inpatient and outpatient trauma-focused levels of care. Since then, she has pursued specialized education in eating disorders through the Center for Body Trust and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

THE VISION BEHIND RARE
Imagine founded Rare Mind and Body with the belief that therapy should meet the whole person—not just symptoms. Her vision was to create a space that feels thoughtful, relational, and deeply human, where clients can explore their story fully, make meaningful change, and leave each session feeling a little more like themselves.

OUTSIDE THE THERAPY ROOM
Outside the office, Imagine starts most mornings with coffee and spends much of her time embracing the joy, curiosity, and occasional chaos of motherhood. She believes being imperfect and human keeps her grounded—and humbles the work she gets to do alongside her clients.
