KAYLEE GLEW, LMSW
Psychotherapist
bookworm, nature enthusiast, self-proclaimed chef

HER APPROACH
Kaylee believes every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued throughout their journey. Reaching out for support can be a vulnerable step, and her goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, respected, and accepted exactly as you are.
As a psychotherapist, she approaches her work from a place of empathy, curiosity, and genuine connection. She believes therapy is not about “fixing” who you are, but about creating space to better understand yourself, heal from past experiences, recognize your strengths, and move toward the life you want to build. Kaylee strives to walk alongside her clients as they navigate challenges, celebrate their growth, and uncover the resilience that has been within them all along.
She works with adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, disordered eating, LGBTQIA+ related experiences, harm reduction, life transitions, intimate partner violence, chronic pain, and struggles related to self-image and self-worth.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s needs. She draws from evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Systems Theory, and operates from a strengths-based lens. Kaylee earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from Ferris State University.
Kaylee practices from the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and her role is to support you in exploring your experiences, identifying what matters most to you, and creating meaningful change.
OUTSIDE THE THERAPY ROOM
Kaylee enjoys spending time with her partner and pets — their German Shepherd, Dio, and their cats, Hazel and Buttons. You can often find her with a book, watching documentaries, spending time outdoors, or creating something in the kitchen that her partner lovingly refers to as her “masterpieces." Nature is a meaningful source of inspiration for Kaylee, whether that looks like reading in a hammock, painting a landscape, or hiking toward a breathtaking view. Much like therapy, the most rewarding destinations often come from continuing forward through challenges and obstacles — and sometimes the view at the end is a waterfall.
